The Alpine Bank in Telluride presented some interesting challenges. Upgrade the entire mechanical system, gut the entire interior space, and keep the bank open for business. Also complete this project with a LEED Certification in 4 months. The end result is transformational. Mahogany trim and doors, plus extraordinary granite and tile make this bank look like it belongs in Shanghai.
Alpine Bank Telluride was awarded the LEED-Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI) certification at the Silver level. As per the NRDC - Natural Resources Defense Council - a LEED certification is "the recognized standard for measuring building sustainability. Achieving LEED certification is the best way for you to demonstrate that your building project is truly 'green'."
